Oracle Jobs Galore on Google Base

Google Base launched this week hot off the heels of Google Analytics. Looks like Google is rapidly taking control of the web.

According to Google:

Google Base site is a place where you can add all types of information that we’ll host and make searchable online.

You can describe any item you post with attributes, which will help people find it when they search Google Base. In fact, based on the relevance of your items, they may also be included in the main Google search index and other Google products like Froogle and Google Local.

Essentially, Base is a site where you can upload files and share them with other people. I did a couple of Oracle searches and so far it looks like they only have job ads so if you’re in need of an Oracle Job it might be a good place to look. Hopefully people will begin to share other Oracle related content soon.

It’s going to get interesting if Google starts to offer free web hosting services! A lot of web hosting companies will be put out of business.
