I was trying to reduce the size of the Character report but its not effecting in the Application Output. I was working with the Check print report in AP. I need the font size to be reduced?

I have tried in many ways

1. Before my report in application is in Text format and style is Dynamic portrait.

2. I Changed the format to PDF its giving the error

REP-3000: Internal error starting Oracle Toolkit. except for the landwide for every format its giving the same error.

3. Even i have change the report to bitmap and tried its also giving the error
like Invalid body size.

and why if i change my report font size it will not at all effecting in the application?
if i reduce or increase its giving the same size its not changing the size?

If you are using character report, the font size which you set on report won’t be there in application.This is setup in pasta/Unix part of the application ,so better speak to DBA to change it a different driver for that printer.

if you design your check printer in bit mode, then YES u can set this font size in report itself.
But if you design the report in character mode,then if you define as postscript/PDF in application then you will have issues.
and it will give too much headache (And won’t able to fix it unless u redesign it). So be aware of this.
