We are currently running 11.5.8 and are trying to fire up BI and Components of DBI and are having a nasty time of it.  Everytime we go after a bit of functionality, we get entyangled in a 11.5.8 - 11.5.9 or 11.5.10 deadly embrace.  Is there any practical info on what one can implement with which version?  The metalink info has been too version agnostic to be useful ...

IMHO 11.5.8 Discoverer Stack has been a little cludgey.  We had to upgrade to 10g Discoverer and then things were working better.
