At more4apps we’ve developed the Item Wizard to load your inventory items from excel into oracle applications using your oracle username and password.  This product is an end user tool which requires internet explorer and Microsoft Excel 2003 onwards.

Creates Items, Categories and catalogs
Supports DFFs
Use forms in excel to choose item attributes from lists of values
Submit and review your concurrent requests without having to open an oracle session
Supports automatic item generation via a customizable package (optional - development required)
