The GSD Project Manager works closely with the GSD Consulting management team and the US-region consulting/delivery North America Consulting Organization (NAC) to deliver offshore projects on behalf of Oracle Consulting.
He or she will help define and architect the Oracle solution being proposed during the pre-sales cycle as needed in order that the solution/Oracle footprint aligns with customer technology strategies and meets business requirements. 
The Project Manager plays a dual role in supporting these pre-sales activities in an onsite or offshore mode as well as with offshore delivery management capabilities with personal billable delivery utilization target of 75%.
Personal client billable time results from managing offshore delivery projects, providing project implementation support around subject matter expertise, lead architect role and management of delivery staff.

The GSD Project Manager will also be goaled to bring in net new business at the account that he/she is responsible for. 
This could be in terms of new carved out projects, or additional resources being assigned to various projects within the customer’s application IT environment.

Responsibilities
· Designing, developing and documenting solution architecture that meets client needs.
· Anticipates client’s needs and successfully presents Oracle solutions.
· Contributing to project planning and project management and delivering offshore technology projects.
· Working alongside Partner and other third party organizations as required.
· Sharing knowledge and best practice within the practice and across lines of business.
· Acting as an expert in the specialist practice area.
· Contributing as required to the generation of bids/proposals ensuring they reflect the capability of the practice(s).

Technical Competencies
· Indepth knowledge of the Oracle eBiz application and/or technology stack - database and application server - or competitor technologies.
· Indepth knowledge of a specific applications module (SCM or Financials or HRMS or CRM) across platforms - either Oracle eBiz, Psoft, Siebel, Demantra, OTM, Edge Applications · Has successfully delivered multiple offshore delivery projects over a minimum of three years.
· Has delivered projects in North America · 10+ years experience in major IT projects involving whole business process.
