Hi gurus, we are using R12.
I would like to know if I can create automatically the Item Number based on the Item Category and then selecting the last sequence in that.At least suggesting that in the Item Master Number field.
all inputs are welcome.

I would like to change the attribute control of Build in WIP flag from Org level to Master level. Can anybody tell me the exact impact of this change and how we can proceed with this change. Since we have many items already defined with org level control?

wip outside processing item

Hi,

I have created a wip job for an outside processing item. and the requisition is created for the wip job.
now i need to cancel the wip job and it should automatically cancel the requisition too.

i tried that. however, cancelling wip job is not cancelling the corresponding requisition..

is there any setup to do this?

Can any one tell me what are the pre-requisites for Implementing Demantra.

We have a requirement to integrate Oracle apps and Demantra Instance for getting forecasting info.

Can any one please help me in getting Demantra documents other than Userguides.

Basically, I need information on how to start up the Demantra.

Here I’m allowed to do learn anyone of these 2. I think choosing o2c may be risky in facing interview as it is vast to learn than p2p.

(Steel Industry - Induction Furnice) Which Manufacturing Module Discrete or OPM

I am working in a steel plant where we have 1 Steel shredder and 1 Induction Furnice. We are planing to implement Manufacturing modules of Oracle. Can any one guide me as to which oracle manufacturing module would be suitable for us Discrete or Process. Moreover we also want to implement Planing Modules. can you please also guide as to which modules should we implement MRP/MPS or ASCP.
