Bio

I’m a Functional Consultant with RPC DATA Uganda on an Oracle E-business suit implementation (GL, OPSFI, AP, AR, CR, PO, PSB, and FSG) for the government of Uganda. A consortium of Hewlett Packard, Oracle Solutions Services(SSI) and RPC DATA; a premium Oracle Certified Advantage Partner, have put heads and resources together to deliver a superlative Oracle Apps solution to the government of Uganda. (http://www.itweb.co.za/sections/enterprise/2005/0507051105.asp).My interest is to get as highly and as extensively exposed to various and complicated Oracle Apps implementations and installations all over the globe.

For the last 12 months to to-date, I’ve worked with the post go live on-site support team, and I have gained considerable experience in the dynamics of support and the tools that come along and go with it. My area of interest and experience lies in AP and GL, and I have worked with tools like SQL andToad, while applying data fixes, and running various diagnostic scripts.I have hands on experience with enablers such as dataloader, ADI and FSG. I have worked with Oracle metalink, and have a pretty good understanding of the tools and functionality it has to offer to a support team. Previously, I worked with the training division of RPC on the same implementation. I have considerable training room experience, and understand what it takes to deliver optimum training solutions to clients.

Looking forward to interacting with highly skilled and experienced Oracle Techno-functional consultants on this wonderful forum, and to share experiences in order to expound and build on my Oracle knowledge base. Worthy of noting, is that I’m very proud to have worked with Richard Byrom, the founder of this great site, once upon a time, here in Uganda.
