Hi,

I’m trying to get documentation on Oracle’s E business suite accelerator. I’d really like to know how it works and if there is anybody who has used it, would like to know what their experiences were. If anybody has taken the training Oracle provides, did they find it useful? Is there any documentation available regarding how it works?
Any responses are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hello,

I found this forum after using blackle to search for the DataLoad Classic key stroke for the spacebar. Blackle came back with this URL, which is hidden:

http://www.oracleappsblog.com/index.php/weblog/comments/48/

So, if anyone can tell me how to tick a check box using DataLoad Classic, I would be most grateful - I am wanting to tick the box to set a cost centre to be a Parent value.

TIA, Jonathan

Ps. I have tried \{SPACE} and also just \ with no joy and I don’t want to use *MR (Mouse co-ordiantes) as I am adding multiple lines to the same screen so the co-ordinates constantly change.

I am looking at various tools used to document and compare the setups and configurations between eBusiness Suite 11i instances. The two main tools I am looking at are Integra Apps from Applimation and Config Snapshot from the Compel Group. Was wondering if there are other similar tools out there to consider, and if anyone has done a side by side comparison (cost of ownership, time to implement, company strenghths weaknesses, etc.) of any of these tools. I have reviewed Richard’s post on the use of Config Snapshot, and would appreciate any feedback from other members regarding the use of these tools.

For over a decade companies worldwide have used SmartDB Workbench and SmartDB Intelligent Adapters for migrating their data to Oracle Applications. Having been around for 10 years, the SmartDB Workbench is very robust. The Intelligent Adapters that SmartDB provide support Oracle Apps 10.7, 11.0.x and 11i (including 11.5.10). Information on all these products can be found at http://www.smartdbcorp.com.

The pre-built Adapters that SmartDB provide reduce the time and cost of migrating data to Oracle or upgrading one version of Oracle to another or consolidating multiple Oracle Apps instances into one.

THese tools are really easy to use and very cost effective. Some users claim that no Oracle Apps shop should be without SmartDB.
