RD050 FOR Fixed Assets !!Urgent please help!!

Hi I am trying to find a completed RD050 document for Fixed Assets but it seems that there is nothing on the Internet. I don’t care if it it’s for a DEMO (non-existing) company or not. I want to understand how to write one for the project I am working for. I’ ve wrote RD020 many times but never an RD050. Please help me. Any suggestion, direction or even better file would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I’ve the latest RD050 template from AIM 3.0, but with no example data it’s of no use to me.

I’M TRYING TO EVALUATE WHICH WOULD BE MORE SUITABLE FOR A PROJECT I’M IMPLEMENTING. IT INVOLVES CORE FINANCIALS AND DISCRETE MANUFACTURING MODULES. WE ARE NOT CERTAIN WHICH WOULD BE MORE SUITABLE BIG BANG APPROACH WHEREBY ALL MODULES GO LIVE AT ONCE OR PHASE BY PHASE, WITH FINANCIALS FIRST AND MANUFACTURING MODULES TO FOLLOW OR PHASE BY PHASE WHERE THEIR HQ GOES LIVE FIRST AND OTHER OFFICES GO LIVE NEXT WITH ALL THE MODULES.

ANY SUGGESTIONS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Project Plan to Upgrade from Discoverer 4.1.48 to Discoverer 10G

We are beginning the process of upgrading our EUL from 4.1.48 to Discoverer 10G.

Does anyone have a tried and true project plan i could use as an example?

Any Best Practice Notes would also be appreciated

As i dont have the pasrtner network I was not able to get the passowrd for this.

Can not open WM020_Project_Workplan_MP.mpp

When using AIM to guide our project implementation, I try to refer to the project workplan of AIM3.0, but I can not open the mpp file with MS Project 2000.

Is there anybody encoutered the problem? Please do help me.

Testing Requirement in a Full AIM Implementation Process

Hi All,

I was planning for a new implementation. The proposed client is keenly interested to know the step by step testing scope accross the implementation! Hence I need to prepare detailed testing plan mentioning all test name (like regression test, stress test, performance test etc) and at exactly where that appears conventionally.

I tried to gather those datas through AIM Method Documents but couldnt find anywhere.
Can anyone help please. Ant document reference, pointers are welcome!

Oracle AIM Not working properly in IE 6.0

Oracle AIM links do not open up properly in IE 6.0

Does anybody have a link or info on what needs to be tweaked in IE 6.0 to get it to work right? I followed a link, but it was a OPN link for which I do not have accesss. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am Chartered Accountant with 6 years of functional experience(3 years in big 4 audit). 3 years of of bank audits have helped me gain a reasonable knowledge of the banking industry practices in the gulf region.

Currently i am onto an oracle implementation project for a bank. Right from the inception of the project ie. design of COA,coding etc i am involved in the project.
Now we have selected Implentation partner and the project is expected to be in full swing by end of this month.

I am really excited now and want to get upto speed on with people and knowledge. I am looking out to grab some good books/reading materials or probably do some certification course which can take me to a higher plane and also can keep me updated on developments.

I request experts in the forum to give me some tips in this regard. My idea is to stay on top of the project throughout its life cycle and to be an expert at the end of it.

I will furnish more info if needed.

Experts please throw some light on my thoughts.
