Need to analyse the Receiving Transaction Processor file

Hi,

Receiving Transaction Processor provided by Oracle is a spawned file.I got the file RVCTP from PO_TOP under bin directory.

When I am trying to open the file all junk letters are coming. How can I view the source code as I need to do some analysis.

Any help is appreciated.

Performance issue while extracting data from non-APPS schema tables.

Hi,

I have developed an ODBC application to extract data from Oracle E-Business Suite tables.
e.g. I am trying to extract data from HZ_IMP_PARTIES_INT table of Receivables application(Table is in “AR” database schema) using this ODBC application.

The performance of extraction (i.e. number of rows extracted per second) is very low if the table belongs to non-APPS schema. (e.g. HZ_IMP_PARTIES_INT belongs to “AR” database schema)
Now if I create same table (HZ_IMP_PARTIES_INT) with same data in “APPS” schema, the performance of extraction improves a lot. (i.e. the number of rows extracted per second increases a lot) with the same ODBC application.

The “APPS” user is used to connect to the database in both scenarios.

Also note that my ODBC application creates multiple threads and each thread creates its own connection to the database. Each thread extract different data using SQL filter condition.

So, my question is:
Is APPS schema is optimized for any data extraction? I will really appreciate the pointers in this direction.

Standard report formating to A4 size

Hi all,

Oracle standard reports(eg Trans. historical Summary-Inventory module) is previewd in browser as a Landwide style.

We are using 11i and not have any physical printer installed, a default “noprint” is installed.

Is there any way that the standard reports formated to A4 size paper?

problem with Inbound and outbound notifications

Hello all,

At the moment I have a problem with the inbound and outbound notifications. Using the standard notification mailer, it’s only possible to have the outbound mailer working or only the inbound mailer. It’s not possible to let them operate togheter.

The outbound mailer is setup at the same server as apps, the IMAP mail account is on a different server.
Seperately this works perfect, but (again) not togheter.

Is there anyone who could help me with this problem? Or has experience with something like this?

We’re facing difficulties implementing the turkish nls on a 11.5.9 database containing other languages (US, IT, GR, PL).
We’ve already opened a SR but no real answer at this time.

Is anybody able to give me some help on this subject ?

I want to know the effected tables if i increased the segment values in General Ledger

Let me explain my problem here

I want to increase the segments values in char of accounts.

At present we are using 8 segments.
What i need to do is

For Example.
111.1011.123.23.19192.22.
what i need to do is i want to increase the segments values for segement2(1011),segment3(123),segment4(23) and segment6(22)
to segement2(001011),segment3(0123),segment4(023) and segment6(022)

111.1011 .123 .23 .19192.22(At Present)
111.001011.0123.023.19192.022(Need to do )

So if i changed the segments values here , some where the tables will effeted right,. so i want to know the all effected tables in FND,AP,AR,GL,FA,PA,PO and INV.

If any one has come across this problem please send me the document also.
