An Oracle Applications Implementors Journal has recently started at ITtoolbox. This post contains details of the blog.

The Oracle Applications Implementors Journal urges you to "Follow one Financial Systems Development Officer & Oracle Certified Professional with a strong background in Oracle Applications as he shares unique insights and real-life solutions to approaching business needs with Oracle". The first post is on how to perform Threat and Risk Assessment for Oracle Applications (TRA). All the best to the author who is listed as non other than "Oracle Fan".

Glad to see the blog has an RSS feed, I think I will syndicate it on this site once I figure out how to.

Oracle HRMS (Human Resources Management System) and Payroll Blog

Thierry Vergult an experienced Oracle HRMS and Payroll consultant has a blog entitled “Implementing HRMS: My Daily Experiences”. This post contains details of the blog.

According to Thierry “After 6 years implementing Oracle HRMS, I want to share my experiences and personal opinions about it. I’m an independent consultant, and have been busy on several projects, mainly in Europe and Africa, implementing all the HRMS modules. My personal favourite by far is Payroll. I do project Management, functional stuff and technical development. Application tuning is my cup of tea”. The blog can be found at http://oraclehrms.blogspot.com. You should also check out OPAYRA, another site that Thierry has started up.

I’ve asked Thierry if he would like to blog for this site under the HRMS and Payroll category. He has very kindly agreed, so welcome aboard Thierry!! You can read Thierry’s membership profile here or if you’re a member you can e-mail Thierry via the profile e-mail console.

Welcome to OracleAppsBlog

Welcome to a dedicated blog site for Oracle Apps Consultants. This site documents the daily experiences of consultants implementing Oracle 11i. Essentially, it will be “A day in the life of..” site for Oracle Applications Consultants.

I’m looking for experienced Apps consultants who would like to participate in or be authors for this web log. Participation will involve you contributing your daily experiences as they relate to Oracle Applications implementations. I have created categories based on industry and module so if you feel you can contribute to a specific category then let me know.

If you are interested in being an author for this blog, register on this site and then e-mail me a copy of your CV containing details of your Apps/ERP implementation experience - I will give you the appropriate authoring rights and set up an oracleappsblog e-mail account for you.
